The Professional Development Certificate of Completion is not an accredited or official TEFL qualification. However, if you choose to order an official TEFL qualification, your certificate will be internationally accredited by the International TEFL Accreditation Council (ITEFLAC). Yes, you can use your official/accredited 120-hour TEFL qualification to teach in class or online. Remember that most employers will require that teachers have a TEFL certificate of a minimum of 120 hours.
You choose your own course schedule. You study whenever you can and at your own pace. Our courses are designed as self-study courses and do not include tutor assistance. The course materials are easy to follow and there are online discussion boards where it is possible to post questions for other students.
You are given 180 days to complete your 120-hour TEFL course. Most students complete their course in 2 to 3 weeks.
Upon completing a free course, you can download a digital Certificate of Completion for Professional Development (*note: this is not an official TEFL qualification). If you want to obtain an accredited official TEFL qualification, you can order a digital or printed TEFL certificate, which includes a reference number for verification. Yes, your official/accredited certificate can be authenticated or apostilled. We highly recommend using Vital Consular (UK) to provide this service for you. As a graduate of ours, you´ll also receive our special corporate rate! The Process >> Step 1: Request an online quote and additional information from Vital Consular regarding the apostille or authentication of your TEFL certificate. You will pay Vital Consular directly for this service. Step 2: Order a hard copy of your certificate from us, as only a hard copy with original signatures will be accepted. When you place your order for the certificate hard copy, use the address of Vital Consular as your shipping address. We will then send your certificate via registered mail directly to Vital Consular to be authenticated or apostilled. Step 3: Vital Consular will then send your certificate to a Notary Public to be notarized. Step 4: Thereafter, the notarized certificate goes to the Foreign and Commonwealth Development Office (FCDO) to have an apostille stamp attached. Step 5: If you need your certificate to be authenticated, then your certificate will be sent to the relevant embassy to be legalized. Step 6: Vital Consular will send your certificate to you.
