TEFL Terms of Use

By registering for a course at Online TEFL Academy, you acknowledge that you have read, comprehended, and agreed to abide by all the terms and conditions outlined below.

Course Duration 

The course must be completed within six (6) months. It is your responsibility to be aware of the expiration date of your course. Online TEFL Academy will not be responsible for any failure to complete the course within the allocated time frame as stated in the terms and conditions upon registration.

Our Commitment 

At Online TEFL Academy, we are committed to providing you with the highest level of service and satisfaction with your training. We promise to respond to your queries within 72 hours and operate an equal opportunities policy.

Certificates 

You can download a Professional Development Certificate of Completion at the end of your course (*this is not an official TEFL qualification and is not accredited). This certificate indicates that you have covered all course materials for the purposes of professional development, self-improvement, and further learning. This professional development course may also serve as a refresher or to ascertain if teaching English is a good fit for you.  

For students looking for an official & accredited TEFL qualification, you may order (i) a digital certificate or (ii) a digital and hard copy certificate below. Your certificate will be internationally accredited by the International TEFL Accreditation Council (ITEFLAC). Each certificate is signed, displays the ITEFLAC logo and has a unique reference number for verification purposes.

You are responsible for all costs associated with the additional service of hard copy certificate delivery before we dispatch it. While we make every effort to ensure timely delivery, we cannot be held responsible for certificates that are not received due to postal or delivery issues. When you request a hard copy certificate, you authorize Online TEFL Academy to pay for the postal service on your behalf, and all risks or losses associated with the service delivery are borne exclusively by you and not Online TEFL Academy, as we are acting on your behalf. Online TEFL Academy does not track items on your behalf. Please contact our office if you believe your certificate delivery has been lost, and a new certificate can be issued for a further fee.

Course Transfer

Please note that Online TEFL Academy courses are non-transferable and cannot be transferred to another person.
